Cameo
I first fell in love with cameo engraving when I entered the 'Inspired by' competition run by the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. My entry 'Inspired by', shown in the Gallery below, was selected and exhibited at the V&A in 2003. It was this that first attracted me to the work of the Woodall brothers from Stourbridge.
Cameo vase. The second in a series on endangered species. This one shows the plight of the Orangutan as a result of the deforestation and the creation of Palm Oil plantations in the Far East.
